Ingredients (serves 1)
- 50g rolled oats
- 1 scoop (20g) Blissful Raw Cacao or Nutty Nutty Peanut Butter protein
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 200ml almond or rice milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
- Toppings: strawberries, blueberries, a little peanut butter
Method
- Add the oats, protein powder and chia seeds to a jar and stir.
- Pour in the milk and maple syrup, then stir well until there are no dry pockets.
- Seal and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
- In the morning, stir, loosen with a splash of milk if needed, and add your toppings.
Tips
Stick to around 50g oats and a cup of plant milk per portion to keep things low FODMAP. Avoid dates and honey as sweeteners (both high FODMAP) — maple syrup is the gentle choice. Make three jars at once for an easy work week.
