Chocolate Protein Mug Cake — Low FODMAP 5-Minute Dessert

When you need chocolate and you need it now. This Chocolate Protein Mug Cake is ready in 5 minutes, certified Low FODMAP and delivers 18g of gut-friendly protein in what is essentially a legitimate dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp That Protein Blissful Raw Cacao
  • 2 tbsp oat flour
  • 1 egg (or flax egg for fully vegan)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp oat milk
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Pinch of baking powder

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a large mug.
  2. Add egg, coconut oil, maple syrup and oat milk. Mix until smooth.
  3. Microwave on high for 90 seconds.
  4. Allow to cool 60 seconds before eating — it will be very hot.
